Itinerary

Morning: Ulaanbaatar to Khustai National Park

Early pick-up from your hotel, with a scenic drive (approx. 2 hours) through the Mongolian steppe.

Visitor Center & Museum

A short documentary and museum visit, learning about the Przewalski’s horse reintroduction project and the park’s wildlife, plants, and ecosystem.

Wildlife viewing drive

A guided drive inside the park to observe Takhi horses, with opportunities to see red deer, gazelles, marmots, and foxes, plus short walks and photography stops.

Lunch

A traditional Mongolian lunch at a ger camp or in nature (vegetarian options available on request).

Nomadic family visit

Visit a local herder family near the park to learn about nomadic life, livestock, and dairy products, and enjoy Mongolian tea and hospitality.
